Analysis of Back burner

Hasan Johnson 1980 (Peoria Illinois)

You crazy not to want me
After all I’ve done for you
It’s all good
You played me for a fool
I hope they take you through all kinds of hell
Cause that’s exactly what I been through
All kinds of hell
Can’t nothing stop me now!
I’m a better man
I had a talk with God
He showed me His plan
Told me my purpose
It wasn’t to be made a fool by you
But I was so determined
Pleased just to hear from you
I’ll never disrespect you
Even if that’s what you like
I meant it when I said I love you
And I’ll never take it back
