Analysis of Nothing Gained From The Experience

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Nothing perceived to be an experience.
Either intentionally to go ignored or missed.
Leaves a nonexperience existing.
Left to learn from it.
Yet...
Experiences to have,
With a teaching them to assume them taught.
Expecting something from them is gained,
And shared.
With others believed are listening and aware.
To later discover their minds are elsewhere.
That opportunity to experience and learn,
Anything!
Is a lesson learned by one who teaches.
And leaves no difference made,
To those whose minds are 'spaced out'.
As if they were there only to share,
Somewhere to land...
A coming off of their 'highs'.
With a doing not to be suspected,
Of being drugged.

'What on Earth is the matter with you people?
Why do you think I am here?
Wishing you all enjoyed your TRIP?'

'Well...
Hopefully it isn't that obvious.
You see...
Some of us wanted to experience,
A new way to focus...
On your lessons to teach.
And apparently a few have yet,
Finished exploring the Universe.'

'Is that suppose to be a joke?
How do you think I can prepare you all,
To become tomorrow's leaders today?'

'If you are attempting to prepare us,
To become tomorrow's leaders?
We will need something much better,
Than that stuff available to us now.
Do you know how much it takes,
Just to keep our minds deluded?
And that doesn't include the fiction of it.'

'And they wonder why,
Once devoted teachers...
Are these days seeking therapists!'

'A doing good weed has to be cheaper!'

'That's not funny at all.'

'I apologize.
I had a rough landing.
But...
Who knew I would confess it.
Did you?'
