Analysis of E.D.D.

Left here in an empty space; deprived of oxygen.
Stuck just in this one place; I can hardly breathe.
A thick cloud of poison, rests inside these caved in lungs.

What exactly is this feeling?
My heart, it's still beating; yet something is amiss.
I do not feel a thing; such a loveless expression.
Left alone; unescorted in this void.

Toxins flow across my skin, and I cannot get enough.
But what's the point? When the lack of oxygen runs too deep.
A feeling they call love; yet I know nothing of it.
An unexplained definition.

Take this torch from me; show me to a light I've never seen.
Guide me there, then disappear.
I've had enough; get me out of here.

I'm left to wither in this strange place.
Inadequate emotions; poison seeping into this space.
My heart, it's no longer beating; deprived of all this oxygen....
