Analysis of Meet Me Where Love Dies
Love has broken me many times
before and yet I run to it, head-on
and without fear.
I bare scars and wear them proudly,
they are trophies of every battle
I have lost.
The war of hearts will rage
on, and on the bloody battlefield
is where I will meet you
and we will dance our last dance
and when it ends
you will stand over me, and
your hands will be dripping with
my blood and I will suffer.
I've endured this pain many
times and I know I will
again.
Love is cruel and unforgiving
but I do not fear the
wicked blade it wields.
I will always go to war
when love calls to me from the
battleground.
I will fight again, and
again my heart will bleed.
Another trophy to claim,
another wound that I will mend
and another battle that i
will inevitably lose.
