Analysis of Waiting

I seek for you in all places,
But none it seems have been right.
I think I might have seen you once,
It was a dark pure moon lit night.
I watched longingly as you passed me by.
I was struck by the power of your light.
I wish I could have touched your warmth,
But the timing just was not right.
I Hope one day you'll pass me again,
So I might take my chance at fate.
I pray you will still be shining my love,
Stuck in never if you’re not late.
