Analysis of Truth Denied To Accept Lies Believed
Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)
In normal situations.
When common sense to use,
Commonly does not become a competition.
No one is given permission,
To sit in a position...
Attempting to convince and make true,
That which isn't.
Although it is too often,
That which isn't becomes believed.
Even if known to be a deceiving misdeeds.
Making the possibility,
Of a deception done...
More accepted to respect,
Than a truth produced with evidence to get.
But yet...
It is in the how that truth is introduced.
And depending upon,
The mood and attitude of who provides it...
That leaves many to perceive being deceived,
Is for them more beneficial.
'I have never heard such nonsense in my life.
Listening to people,
Arguing over whether they prefer...
Truth or lies to them told.
Because they have a dislike,
For the speaker?
And how that truth to them was delivered.
To then cheer on a deceiver?
Known to cheat, lie, fraud and dupe!
What in the World is humanity coming to?'
'Well...
No one can be accused,
Of attempting to build bridges...
Over troubled waters!'
'What?
What sense does that make?'
'None.
Now...
Convince me you know,
What the making of sense is.
I dare you to make that attempt!'
