Analysis of I Don't Think We're Meant to Be Together
There’s an ache
In my heart,
Heavy with the weight
Of my feelings.
I want to
Break up with you
But I don’t want to
Hurt you.
This isn’t working
For me;
I can’t handle this.
I want to be happy
With you
But I don’t think we’re
Meant to be.
I fake a smile
Every time you
Do silly things
As you try to
Impress me,
But I’m sorry,
I don’t think
This’ll work.
I’m really sorry
Because I can’t
Handle dating;
I guess I’m not ready.
I can’t handle
Dating you;
I’m sorry.
I don’t want to
Hurt you.
I don’t know what
To do about this
Because I can’t
Handle dating you.
