Analysis of Response Responsible

It's not behavior that counts, as that happens anytime anywhere, that's not me
They always say that, happened so fast, there was no time for control, whoops
What does count is the response, and that's not really behavior, maybe only learned

Total talk, when does that happen, little action, maybe some body english, words only
Who does it best, who is doing it the most, when do words count, more than actions
Questions, discussions, lots of quiet time, some speeches, statements of hot or cold air

Judges, overseeing actions, referees with clout, not true warriors, the room's the thing
Players, the super ones, not the grieved or aggrieved, they only actors in plays of life
Hordes of lawyers, for some a scourge, a plague, so where did they all come from

Streaming out of schools, in all fields and flavors, not making judgements, hard to do
Fighting battles everyday, whose results, impact millions and billions, that's real change
Its not carrying a gun that carries the constitution forward, that's not the promised future

Fights over rights abused, used, lost, overused, underused, fighting for life every day
Decisions strengthening the social fabrics for all, the battle of one, not the point
Rulings reverberate, striking more and more as, time progresses, increasingly interactive

Not the rights as guaranteed, but protecting the bills of rights of others, without violence
The old time dream of what it's all about, carrying guns, left in the dust, dead in the dirt
Recognize the future, getting a lawyer degree, more powerful than getting a gun
