Analysis of Glass Floors

Talk about glass ceilings, those are floors, seen from above, stranger still the lies below
Two people speaking different languages, thinking the other person just doesn't know
Tower of Babel, not what's thought, it's about respecting animals and unknown cultures
Personal memories, not talked about, puts others into scenes, that could have been avoided

What are talks about, glorious achievements, best moments, pround accomplishments
Pep talks, Ted talks, do they really help, wouldn't you rather be told about what kills you
Most embarrassing, emphatically misunderstood, wading through rocky infested shores
Take in warnings of everything life harbors, maybe listen now, be able to walk away later

Problems hanging by threads, waiting to bite into another life, like ticks on long branches
Trying to see the world for others as seen by what you see, what you know, how you think
But they aren't you, driven by differing priorities, hard where you're fragile, weak when strong
Common grounds are standing upside down, so many floors below, the rush of life pulsing

Glass houses, see clear through walls, secrets locked away in transparent glass boxes
Channeled by walls of greed, insulated from the fray, only dreaming how real the life is
The over success of some, served as movies shown on brick walls, life easily looks good
Even as torrents of lives tumble head over heels, towards exits that only promise better lives
