Analysis of Broken Toy

I feel like a broken toy
Pushed to the bottom of a box
No one will find me here
Through all the waiting
I've become fragile and weak
Parts of me are breaking
Far from what I use to be
Longing to play again

I feel like a broken toy
Waiting to find my maker
How much longer will it last?
These scratches go deeper every day
No longer sure of who I am
I slip farther into darkness
Giving up on all hope
Have I forever lost my way?

I feel like a broken toy
Praying to be fixed
No one can save me now
I have to want it for myself
Too afraid to move
My time is slipping far away
I have to take a chance
Or in this box I will always stay
