Analysis of Web Of Silence

Web Of Silence

White like snow
Cold all around
I sink into your silence
Piercing the noise
That clouds my thought
The quiet rips through me
So violent!

I'm a hostage
In your silent web
Not knowing where to find you
For where you are
I do not know
But I would've been
Right beside you

The silence kills
The absence stings,
The distance is too far
I shudder in this ruthless pain
Not knowing where you are

What once was found,
What seemed so real
Became a punishment instead
You took it
And you hid it
And in the silence, there I bled

About this poem

I wrote this about the dance me and my beloved did before we accepted the potent love we shared. He ran, and it hurt like hell everytime, but he always returned to me. Now we are happily enjoying Love's potent bliss.

Sandy Sinn

Sandy Sinn is a Southern California native who enjoys anything creative and aesthetically appealing. Ms. Sinn suffers from bipolar 1 disorder, and advocates for the mentally ill. She uses writing as a form of healing and reflection surrounding the intense emotional experiences she endures daily from the "highs" and "lows" associated with bipolar disorder. Many of her poetry is dark, but darkness has been her companion for as long as she can remember. She began writing poetry around age 9 to cope from the dysfunction at home, and realized the power of Art back then. She could make others feel what she wanted them to feel through her short stories and poetry. Since then, she has written hundreds of poems, and also specializes in writing erotic mini reads which are published on various social media platforms. She owns a custom erotica service, of which she is the sole writer for, and is working on publishing her first book in a trilogy series of dark , redemptive poems. She wants to share with the world her "gift set" of books in hopes of helping those who are struggling emotionally to find the hope they need to go on. Ms. Sinn believes if we could read a poem, book, or other piece of literature, and feel some type of way about it, then the artist was successful. "Art unites us all together, because at the core of our existence, we all experience the same emotions regardless of the circumstances we are in." -Sandy Sinn more…
