Analysis of Left or Right
Sharon Brown 1974 (Brooklyn)
There’s weight sittin on ma shoulders
Not sure which way to turn
Lessons to the left
Wise words to the right
Dancin with the devil
Singin Hymns Like an angel
Whisperin sweet melodies
Left to right
This is everyones fight.
Words of wisdom or Lessons forlorn
Not sure which way to turn
Evil To the left Innocence to the right
Dancin with the devil
Singin Hymns like an angel
Whispering sweet Melodies
Left to right
This is everyones fight
There’s an Answer in ma soul
Not sure which way to go
Devils horns to the Left
But my souls no where in sight
Dancin with the Devil
While Singin Hymns like an Angel
Left to Right .
This is everyones fight
Dancin with the Devil
Shoulda chose the Angel
The crossroads never right
What way to choose is the fight
Should I go left
Or should I go right
