The old year has passed

Sharon Brown 1974 (Brooklyn)

May God bless your year
And fill it with cheer
the old year has passed
it's a Blessed New Year

May God bless your year
And fill it with cheer
The old year has passed
it's a Joyous New Year

May God bless your year And fill it with cheer
The old year has passed it's a Happy New Year

Have a happy New Year, a Joyous New Year, a Blessed new year

The Love of God Proclaim and be sure to share

Love is Shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

Lift up your hands and let's make a toast

Drink from the rivers of living water,
In God Make Your Boast

Jesus Christ was born, died and He rose

Jesus Christ is Lord of all Spread it from Coast
to Coast

Jesus Christ paid the cost spread it from Coast
to Coast

Blessed New Year everybody here
open your ears, open your heart everybody hear

lift up your countenance, it all makes sense
For Jesus Christ is My righteousness.
the Lamb of God, the sinless
