Analysis of I Cut (MAJOR TW for self-injury)

I cut,
I scratch,
I’ve bled like this before.
I cut,
Red lines all over my skin,
Making me a mess.
I cut,
Throat and wrists red,
And scratches along my arms.
I cut,
Hoping to find an alternative
That’s better than this torture
I live through each day.
