The Kids I Once Knew
The innocent
Little souls
Of this world
Have gone rogue.
They’ve fallen
To the mind tricks of society
And now they’re lost
And shattered,
Broken and abused by society.
They have been stained
With the marks
Of this brutal world,
Turning into beasts
I can no longer recognize.
I look at them
And I wonder sadly
Where those poor hearts
Of the innocent children have
Gone?
