Analysis of A little foresight

The possibilities are endless
but never have begun
Ambition leads the charge
Destinations never lie
In fear or wait they won't remain
What is left has already gone
The destination is nowhere new
Close your eyes and you soon will see
Where it is you want to go
Who it is you want to be
But you can only go so far
when your sight returns
and all vision is lost again
