Analysis of My pain

I hurt More than
you know,
I cry more than
you can see,
Unable to let the
past go,
Thanks to the grip
it has on me,

my body aches,
I'm down on my
knees,
I don't know how
much more I can take,
Dear god help me
please,

I know I made
a choice to
get high,
But I sure as hell
didn't ask to be a
junkie,
An I know you don't
think so,
but I can't control
What dope does to
me,
Weird, crazy,
an maybe a little
sick, still you think
it's funny,

Instead of trying to understand,
you much rather Laugh,
can't, won't, you refuse
to do it in my face
You'd rather do it behind my back,

Shame, remorse,
an sorrow Feelings
that never to away,
Leaving me with no
hope for tomorrow,
I'd much rather just
throw my life away

I hurt more than
you know,
I cry more than
you can see,
Here's to a little
something,
That will forever
be apart of me.

joseph shelton

Hi. I consider myself not beginner but further than amateur in my writing I've been at it for several years now and my hope is to one day use my writings to inspire the lost, the hopless, the suicidal, cause that was me and still I find myself having to reroute my thinking to avoid hitting them spots again. more…
