Analysis of Christmas Morning

He tears into his gifts!
A smile on his face,
his parents look on,
sheltered in their own happy place.
The floor strewn with paper,
for as far as the eye can see,
his mother's face covered in tears,
flowing like a happy river stream.
The boy looks around,
surveying for one last gift
perhaps he could find
one last present from his Christmas list.
Just when the boy thinks
that he has finished his attack,
here comes his dad
pulling a final gift out from behind his back.
The boy leaps to his feet!
Grabs the present from his dad
This is it! This is the one!
His parents had saved the best one for last!
The joy on his face in that moment
could not possibly be measured,
and for this little family
these are the moments they will treasure.
