Analysis of The Storm
I would not mind the storm, the cold,
The winter wind, the 10 below,
But that it keeps you gone from me,
Cold winter white, lean penury.
Vast debit time cannot repay,
That keeps you gone a single day,
For times swift wings have no reverse,
Forward song and forward verse,
And forward love and life and day,
Till time has washed each away,
So small the part of time we share,
What day from you,
Can my heart spare?
