Analysis of Winter

End of the bare trees, the fruits are blooming
The trees are colourful, but the weather is gloomy
The temperature drops, the wind is strong
The days are short, the nights are long

Time of migration for many flocks of birds
And the sun behind the clouds is not observed
Time for hibernation for bears and snails
When the cold kicks in, no one can prevail

Clothed in thick layers of the fresh wool
Drinking flavourful soup till we were too full
The vapour which trickles out from our breath
While braving the cold with all our strength

Streets laden with snow in the hilly areas
Having to shovel it out so that it doesn’t act as a barrier
Or when the fogs reigns supreme in the sky
But if winter has its lows there are also highs
