Analysis of Internal War

Frustrated by asking the same question
‘Why me’ for the millionth time ‘why me’
Attacked to despair in the darkness of night
A constant knocking during the cold light of day
Trapped by its boundless desire to conquer
Camouflaged, a stealth wrecking ball to wreak turmoil
Silent battles won and lost but the war rages on
Hidden scars and gaping wounds, tired
Nowhere to hide from this phantom of destruction
It needs no cavalry of men in this one-on-one duel
