Morning After

Free verse
H e left hand tapping
l l o right hand complimenting
I just wanted to reach out
Pause, breath, comma
Right hand stalling
I had a wonderful, delete wrong word
I had a great night, what does that mean?
Left hand twitching, nervous?
Middle finger pushes the W
We should do it again, question mark
Shouldn’t we, question mark
Press send, hold on, anxious, press send
Sent
Panic
