Analysis of THE DARK OF THE NIGHT

Night evil beckons
Darkness roars down on its prey,
Unwary below.

Darkness comes:
Evil creeps upon you,
Using the shadows for cover.

Dark moon overhead
Foreteller of great evil,
Creeping, slinking death.

Whirling images of
Faces and hands, in the dark night;
Closing in on you.

Dark shadows beckon:
Evil in the night; you can’t
Resist its sweet call.

Night’s dark shadows hide
All manner of evil,
Lurking just beyond sight.

Through the dark night woods
Run evil, loping creatures,
Hunting human prey.

Dark shapes are crouching
On fearful elder structures,
Readying to pounce.

Dark side of night, where
Evil stalks the alleys, to
Search for lonely souls.
