THE MATRIARCHAL SOCIETY

Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)

In The Matriarchal Society
The Bitch-Queen-Fuehrer rules,
She rules for a minority
Made up mainly of fools.

She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed
Won't tolerate insurrection,
Rebels must be cruelly crushed
Without hesitation.

The Matriarchal Society
Is run by women for women,
They're the only ones who matter
That's why there are no rights for men.

Once the ruling gender
Men have been demoted way down below,
It seems there's no position low enough
But how much lower can they go?

Once a WASP class ruled Australia
You had to be white, male, and straight,
But now it's non-white, female, or gay
Or else you just don't rate.

The Black-Lesbian Society
Is what it's called by many,
Those who believe in equality
But soon there won't be any.

Democracy is dying out fast
In this land called Australia,
Once it was the moral high-ground
Now it's a dismal failure.

The Bitch-Queen-Fuehrer rules
But only for the select few,
For everyone else we know
Equality is long overdue.
