Analysis of Changing Seasons
Artful,
As the dazzling northern lights
Dancing across
The bashful black night,
Are your poetic utterances
In my thoughts.
Allusive,
Like the hazy rays of the moon
Lurking behind
Masquerading clouds,
Are your absent words
In my ears.
Awry,
Like seeds in parched ground
Thirsting upon
The barren winds,
Are your fruitless promises
Within my heart.
Alas,
Your absence echos-
Swooping,
dropping deep, down
Between the expansive canyon walls
Until faltering into naught.
