Analysis of Showers

Turning the handle
Water pours out the shower head
Steam fogs the mirror as i step in
Hoping I slip
Boiling water rushes over my body
No more holding back
Sobs rack my body
screaming, wishing it would stop
Turning up the heat, making it hurt more
trying to wash it all away
the last sob leaves my body
turning the handle, and stepping out
Cold air instantly burning my skin
I hide all evidence of what was done
Exhausted,
I know that wasn't the last time
