Crushing

Alexandria Brinker 2007 (Kansas)

Fluttering in my gut,
Like giant butterflies.
Their eating me alive,
Slowly, one bite at a time.
I bite my tongue,
so I don't say anything stupid around you.
I learn and learn,
Trying to know how to talk to you.
I approach you gently,
So I don't scare you away.
Theres so much I wish to tell you,
but I don't know if you can handle it.
if this is a crush,
Then I don't think I'll survive Love.

Sorry for the name repetitiveness, it told me it wouldn't post because there was another poem under that name so i tried it again, but it posted both?
