Analysis of A DARK & AWFUL NIGHT (No help coming!)

It is a dark and awful night
When all the stars refuse to shine,
No help coming!
No help coming!
Nothing good ever comes to mind
On this dark and awful night.
No help coming!
No help coming!

A lurid, torrid time
When only evil walks the streets,
No help coming!
No help coming!
No compassion anywhere to find
All life is truly bleak.
No help coming!
No help coming!

All the sad and lonely people
Living without any hope,
No help coming!
No help coming!
Only losers live out here
And most can barely cope.
No help coming!
No help coming!

A horrid time when no one cares
The broken people fend alone,
No help coming!
No help coming!
Those asked to help turn and glare
The lost are truly on their own.
No help coming!
No help coming!

A time when nothing good can live
When nothing decent can survive,
No help coming!
No help coming!
No one cares enough to give
A minute of their precious time.
No help coming!
No help coming!

About this poem

I wrote this poem at a time when I was desperately ill and needed assistance to do everyday household chores, but all of my 'friends' at that time refused to help out.
