Analysis of "Where"
William Assad 1949 (Penn)
Where is the place of silence in our minds?
Where space and time have no hold, and stories yet to be told?
Where beauty and ugly cannot be defined
Where the love of another is color blind?
Where can we go when no distance is measured?
Where the road brings us to our treasure?
Where speed does not get us home
Where left never alone?
Where is the life at the end of this journey?
Where coming and going blend into one?
Where the ones left behind, ask.
Where have we gone?

About this poem
I wrote this one day in early spring while thinking about the journey of this life and the places no one can define.
