Analysis of Native Land
A glorious land
Respected embraced
Til white man he came
Stripped life from her face
Reckless abandon
Insatiable greed
Centuries bounty
Replaced by his seed
Her keepers cast westward
As progress demands
Home to the strangers
Her proud native lands
A rapid extinction
By civilized hands
Uncivilized terror
No one understands
A people most gracious
A promise not kept
A motherland stolen
As mother earth wept
