Analysis of Hades and Persephone

Down in the abyss
Where the kingdom lies between the hiss
Hades returning to his throne
And awaiting his Persephone

“Where have you been?” He asks
“Oh, my beloved sweetheart” she answers with a spark,
“I was up there with my new garçon, quite an interesting one.
You see he comes from one of my favourite places, the world of great riches, he is mine under the sun.
But my dear, you know I was born in the darkness, so to you my love I always run.”

Persephone climbs onto his lap and starts to caress his face
“And you, my love? Have you found yourself someone on earth to embrace?"
Hades responds “Yes I have indeed, a young beautiful girl actually”
Persephone springs up “How wonderful, I am so glad for you your majesty”.

As they both start to get lost in each other's eyes
The melody of the underworld starts to rise
A full harmony of strings, that accompanies their sins
In the underworld, they were Queens and Kings

Yet it was there in their secret place where they found their pleasure to entice one another
And no matter what they would always come back to each other.
