Analysis of THE STORY OF BONEHEAD STEVENS

Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)

It’s the story of bureaucracy
That has gone surely mad,
Bonehead keeps inflation high
Just to prove to us he can.

A snivelling feeb named Bonehead
Who likes to hurt the People,
He’s pushing us as hard as he can
To see if we’re Men or Sheeple.

Bonehead’s just a sadist
Who loves to hurt the poor,
His Masters in Big Business say,
‘Kick the bastards ‘til they’re raw!’

So Bonehead keeps the people down
And the Rich applaud his misdeeds,
He wants to see us in the gutter
And dying from basic needs.

It’s the story of a bonehead
They say he’s not-much man,
His sadism destroys good people
And we think that’s his Master Plan!
