Analysis of Don't Give Up

Sometimes things just don’t
Go as good as you want.
In our imperfect world
That is to be expected.
There’s problems with this and
Problems with that.
It can be overbearing.
If you’re feeling like you just
Can’t take it no more.
Don’t give up.
Call a relative.
Call a friend.
Write a story.
Write a poem.
Tell us your feelings
Through your story.
Through your poem.
Get it off your chest.
It may make you feel better.
Sharing burdens is something
That can take a lot of patience.
But there are people willing
To let you share it with them.
People you don’t even know.
People with big hearts.
Call them up.
Heed their advice.
I’m sure this world.
Will be a better place
If you will stay in it.

About this poem

I was reading and interpreting a poem by Nancy Nunez. As I was reading a little different type of poem was forming in my head. It took me a day to work out exactly what I wanted to say. This poem is the results. It is trying to give someone hope by not committing suicide.
