Analysis of Empty Soul

Blest474 1984 (Durand, MI)

Behind Someone's Eyes
What do you see?
Love Maybe?
Sincerity?
Or an emptiness
(an emptiness) So dark, So cold
That Just the thought sends chills down your spine
How did that emptiness get there?
Where did it come from?
& maybe even by whom
(How did it you ask)
Was it denial?
Insanity?
Maybe even a loved one could have done this?
Could this person love someone so much
That they told there other everything
Just so their mate could turn around
& backstab them with every little dark secret told
Could this mate have that persons heart in their hand
Just to squeeze all what's good inside, out
To leave just an Empty Shell
A shell to roam around, Wandering
No certain destination
Just another soul lost by this emotion
Called Love
