Analysis of Into the light

AS THE LIGHT FADES AWAY AND ON INTO DARK
ALONE WITH THE MEMORIES AND A TATTERED OLE HEART
SITS A BROKEN DOWN WOMEN WITH TEARS IN HER EYES
BROKEN FROM YEARS OF HIS RIDICULOUS LIES.
TEARS FROM THE PAIN SHE HIDES DEEP DOWN INSIDE
ALL COVERED AND BURRIED WITH HER WOMANLY PRIDE
SHE QUESTIONS THE REASONS AND MEANING OF LIFE
HER KIDS ARE ALL GROWN, SHE’S NOW NOBODY’S WIFE
SHE’S NOT SO IMPORTANT JUST A WASTE OF DEAD SPACE
SHE DOESN’T BELONG THERE IN THAT HORRIBLE PLACE
SHE’S BEEN MIS-TREATED BY MOST AND THEN THROWN AWAY
SHE’S JUST LOOKING TO FIND HER OWN HEAVEN SOMEDAY
AS HER LIFE PASSES BY WITH BROKEN DOWN DREAMS
SHE SEARCHES FOR SELF AND JUST WHAT THAT MEANS
HOW TO START OVER AND WERE DOES SHE BEGIN
WITH NO POWER NOR COURAGE NOR STRENGTH FROM WITHIN
SHE HAS NOTHING AND THERE’S NO ONE TO CALL
OH WHERE IS HER ANGEL TO CATCH HER THIS FALL
HER ANGEL HAS LEFT HER A LONG TIME AGO
A CHOICE SHE HAD MADE CAUSED HER ANGEL TO GO
SHE NOW STRUGGLES THROUGH EACH LONG LONLEY NIGHT
AS THE DARKNESS FADES AND ON INTO THE LIGHT
