Analysis of Sarrows And Regrets
Corina H. Ramirez 1964 (San Angelo)
To the woman who gave me life
with respect I love you so much mom,
for your ever lasting love for me
for holding me together till my prom.
I betrayed your trust
I been hurtful and mean,
I've cursed you said I hate you
and I yelled at you where's my jeans
Of everything I've been to you
I don't deserve the kind of love,
that you've given me through out the years
I guess it's sent from heaven above.
I know I'll never have another mom
that will love me as much as you,
you're always there for me
no matter what I do'
So I thank you mom
from the bottom of my heart,
I'll never be unkind to you
thank you for not letting me fall apart.
And I thank God that you
never gave up on me,
because to tell you the truth
I don't know where I'd be.

About this poem
This poem is about my second to the oldest daughter she was my most rebellious child I would tell her don't do this or that because you're going to get hurt I would tell her I know because I been through it already. And she would tell me I don't care I want to find out on my own even if I get hurt. And some things I let her do some I didn't even know she had done but as time past she started to see that what I was telling her was true this was her response to me and she asked me to forgive her. So I wrote this poem. more »
