The years seem to
come and go so fast,
It's like a blink of an eye
out from the past.
Soon you'll be twelve
almost in a teenage life,
you are very beautiful
to young to become a wife.
Enjoy your youth
don't rush into things,
take it one day at a time
and see what life brings.
Go to school and graduate
your very smart and bright,
so stay out of trouble
just follow the light.
I'm very proud of you
which I'm happy to say,
you're my beautiful chocolate chip
hugs & kisses happy birthday today.

About this poem
This poem is about my grand-daughter since she was a baby I've always called her my chocolate chip every time she would see me she would come up and hug me and tell me I'm still your chocolate chip grandma. Now she's 15 years old and she still tells me I'm still your chocolate chip grandma
