Precious Grandbaby

To my precious grandbaby
You brought happiness to my heart,
I enjoyed caring for you
I pray that we never part.
I watched you grow
Day after day,
We were so happy
In our own special way,
But as time went by
And the years passed,
I feared that this
Moment would not last.
But the memories
That we shared,
Will never be forgotten
And nothing will ever compare.
You will always be
Deep in my heart,
Where it will always
Stay and never be apart.

About this poem

This poem is about my granddaughter I raised her since she was a baby till she was 10 years old and then my daughter took her. but it was for the best because me and my husband were having problems. I missed her so much .Now my grand-daughter is 20 years old she is a very bright and beautiful young lady I am so proud of her.
