Analysis of Hurt & Pain.

Michael A. Watkins 1965 (san diego)

One of you can be treated
with a few pills of meds,
the other one is internal
if not treated you could be dead,
if you stub your big toe
or cut your hand with a knife,
it's a few minutes of discomfort
that wont emotionally effect your life,
so hurt & pain are different
and one in the same, it's simple,
to sum it up in two words-
Mental and fundamental,
a broken heart can be fixed
with love, distance and time,
forgiveness is to the individual
as justice is to the crime.
