Analysis of Shadow Men

There are those, the shadow men.
Hanging together
Their brass buckles shine so. Alas!
There growling voices...when
They are heard altogether....all
Are frightening and loud
As the thunder of a storm
Or a sonic boom... That shatters
Ones composure...
In greens and yellows.

These shade of grays and browns...
Fade and fall down....raping the ground
Without sound or motion.

Those whom have crossed into the shadows are hollow.... sallow...hard to follow....the path is without form.
Forlorn men of echoes... wallow and warble.... their voices garbled....and warm.

We only remember them in silence...their violence Is not bloodless...but careless and wanton...like a fallen woman calling in the night.

Their cries are denied to the air waves,
Their souls  can not be saved...no matter what they gave at the alter as the faltered and fell.  They know that Charon will not take them across to the other shore.  They dare not want to go anymore.....they huddle together and mumble, in endless circles that tighten and squeeze them...banshees and hoodlums...there eyes are sockets devoid of life but for being the devil's advocates.

Their smell is of animal skins and piss and gin....sweat that smells like pigs in the wind.

Sunlight hides them in realities pockets...
There eyes stare thru their empty sockets...and they whimper and shiver...but they won't be delivered to heaven or to hell....they are caught in the spell of living in sin....they are but the dust in the wind... A likeness to rusted tin.... Browning  and turning faded colors again....these shadow men.

Lead us not into temptation....or sexual elation...let us hold fast to the things that will last.  Restore to good living .... store up our treasures in heaven.

Dried cracked lips are heard where
On the alters they are saying their prayers.
Boney hips slip in the circle...there
In no hope for a miracle....
Thine will be done....the shadows are made and destroyed by the sun..
The Son...will allow His will to become
No one has won...there is abnegation and they are abandoned.   Forever undone.
