Analysis of Snail trail
GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)
A private secluded road
Bordered by a row of wood
Tucked back into the woods
A trail to find solace
It’s my private snail trail
Where I linger when frail
When my heart bleeds sadness
And I try to chase happiness
Here the walk is sedentary
Nature in its tranquil state
Haste makes the road burly
And yet peace you want to get
The trees on the sides beckon
The brush on the fringes shush
The birds on the trees enthrall
And the deep mystery engulfs
Here all your worries lighten
And your mind unknots
The elusive peace beckons
As it battles away worries
It is my balm in stress
My healing when sick
Walking along the snail trail
You become smooth like the snail
