Die graue Friedenstaube

Da fliegt die graue Friedenstaube,
Und zieht hinaus ins tief ergraute,
vom Krieg verstaubte, viel zu laute,
Gebiet, in das sich niemand traute.

Sie singt das alte Lied vom Lieben,
doch bringt sie damit hierher Frieden -
Wo giergetrieb'ne...
