As if You Didn’t Exist at All

How scary it must be to go missing.
Perhaps they thought she wandered away
But surely she’ll be back before an hour.

Maybe she got lost.
Maybe she’ll be back soon?
Instead of being dragged off kicking while the sun was still shining
Yet not...

There were a lot of good poems and I had a tough time narrowing it down, but this one just kept popping up to mind. It reminds me of a Robbert Frost poem but more than that I like the message to keep walking through the darkness because the light will come and it will get better.
