I still wear my cloak of shame
It continues to weighs heavy on my all
Many links of iron chain
Each with a termination of a iron ball.

This cloak I carry always
It appears though out the day’s
It haunts me in times of progress
And...

Cloak of shay

I wear a cloak of shame,
It weighs heavy on my all,
Many links of heavy chain,
Each terminate with a cast iron ball.

This cloak it never leaves me,
Not a moment is it not borne,
It even comes to bed with me,
But sadly fails to keep me warm....
