I have been writing poetry from my Middle School years to present retirement; more than 60 years. I had one poem published in the local county newspaper about two weeks after President Kennedy was killed. Since then I have few poems for various gatherings and occasions. I am a composer and wrote some of the texts of some of my choral and solo music. I also taught in the School of Music of Belmont University. Great to learn about poetry.com! Wow!
