maar toch
herken ik je zachte geur
als een vage herinnering aan een vervlogen droom
als een stuk muziek dat een vloed van missen met zich...

naar het meisje op de bank
mijn hart slaat in een draf
wanneer ik de hoek omdraai
zie ik haar
ze kijkt op, een lach
galop
haar ogen als
twee warme haarden
om de koude te verdragen
haar lach
onderbroken door lippenstift ...

ze fluistert iets toe
