Prunus persica

one may find
unlimited joy
in the realisation of
the uniqueness of life
the happiness achievable
the dreams dreamable
the beauty of thought
the power of feeling
in the comedy of life

one may find
unlimited sorrow
in the realisation
of the loneliness of life
the sadness unavoidable
the horrors imaginable
the destruction of nature
the power of fear
in the tragedy that is life
