I am proud to be born in India. An Electrical Engineer by profession, I got inclined towards English literature with inspiration from my father Late Shri. Narhar Anant Deshpande Sir from Raver in Jalgaon District of Maharashtra State. I started to write English poems due to a need of my son in his school days to recite a fresh poem on Gandhiji on Gandhi Jayanti when I penned my first poem 'Salutation the father of the nation which is widely circulated all over the world. Subsequently, I wrote poems on each of the books that I read by the great philosopher J. Krishnamurti viz. Life Ahead, A dialogue with onself, Inward Revolution, etc. and on some special occasions or on reading some articles, etc. I would love to share my poems on this POETRY.COM like I had on the earlier poetry.com

Preventing ‘His’tory of ‘Her’itage

Preventing ‘His’tory of ‘Her’itage

One day, I was reading an article
On ‘Preservation of History of Heritigae’
Which concluded with a word play that
If history is written around ‘him’ or ‘men’
Does heritage centre around ‘her’ or ‘women’?

A Permanent Change

The only permanent thing in life is a ‘Change’
But that is the most difficult one to accept, isn’t that strange?
We for finite period are a part of this world infinity
One day everyone has to depart, when? No surety!
For...
