New here, recent events have urged me to share a poem that has many meanings to me. I wrote it some time ago, but a new development has added new meaning that parallels my current situation. I thought that made it interesting enough to share. There are several underlying themes, but mainly I'd say it's about existence and mortality, god and science. I know this is very well covered and commonly written about, but I feel what I wrote offers a simple metaphor but is multi layered and fresh. more »
