Bad expressionist

Nobody talks about the negative,
even when it clogs every other positive.
Put on your best fake smile to please,
don't watch the happy ones, hide your jealousy.
Close your bedroom door and begin to cry,
you only feel better when you use a knife....

When the girl has to explain

I thought I had everything under control,
savouring those little moments to help my soul.
I thought if I confessed it would've been better,
like the weight lifted off my shoulders from my sweater.
Instead, it was the opposite of what was planned....
